Is it really free?
Yes, Polígono Splitter v1.0 is a free release (Freeware) for the community. There are no hidden costs, watermarks, or subscriptions.
How long does it take to process a song?
It depends on the power of your computer. If you have a graphics card Nvidiathe process is ultra-fast (approximately 30-60 seconds). If you're using only the processor (CPU), it might take a few minutes, but you'll get the same studio quality without waiting for cloud uploads.
Does it work on Mac (macOS)?
Currently, the Beta v1.0 version is optimized only for Windows 10 & 11. We are working on the macOS version, which will be released in the next update.
Does Windows display a "Protected PC" warning?
This is completely normal. Because it's independent software (and not from a giant corporation), Windows doesn't recognize the digital signature immediately. Just click on «More information» an then in «Run anyway». The software is 100% safe, open source, and virus-free.
What do I do if the installation fails?
Make sure you run the installer as administrator. If the problem persists, check that your antivirus isn't blocking the process (this is a common false positive with new software) or contact us.
Can I use stems for my commercial songs?
Of course! The resulting audio files are 100% yours. You can use them for remixing, sampling, or mixing without any rights issues regarding the tool.
